Author's Note: It seems like Xyelgazel has stepped down from hosting Ratwood, but may still play a role in it's administration. This is unconfirmed.

What is Ratwood?

Ratwood is a Space Station 13 server which describes itself as an 18+, anthros allowed (Aka Furry) medieval roleplay server. It is operated by two users known respectively as Xyelgazel (Formerly WehWeh), and another individual named Useroth.

Why should you care?

There are three primary reasons why Ratwood's current existence is an issue.

  1. Ratwood has not enforced effective measures to ensure that minors are prevented from accessing the 18+ environment, which includes the ability to perform erotic roleplay with grown adults, and potentially see adult content in the Discord. Even after upping the requirements, Xyelgazel has stated that they waive checking ID if the user seems mature enough via spelling and grammar.
  2. Xyelgazel himself has stated in the past to have sexual preferences that some believe make him a danger to minors.
  3. Ratwood administration turn a blind eye to at least one user who is said to have posed a threat to minors in the past.

Below is a recording of a meeting between Blackstone and Ratwood hosts. A transcript can be found HERE, though it is a machine transcription and not entirely accurate.
